How to set pricing parameters for selected offers?
Pricing settings for individual offers in the Nethansa Platform can be set independently for each offer.
The global settings contain the pricing parameters that will be used by default for listings in a given marketplace. However, each of these settings can be changed for any offer and set individually. For a given offer, only the settings assigned to it will be used - some settings can be set individually and some can use the marketplace's default values.
For each offering, you can choose one of three ways to manage the price:
- Dynamic Pricing
- Fixed Price
- Off
Details of each option are described below. You can read more about how Dynamic Pricing works here: How does Dynamic Pricing work?
Price settings for individual offers
1. In the Offers section select the fulfillment channel and click on the three dots next to the offer you wish to edit.
2. Select Price settings option.
3. Edit pricing parameters for the selected offer.
We will see a window with price settings on the selected offer. Here we can change the price settings for the offer - you can set them individually or choose to use the default values for the offer's marketplace.
Price management
Choose how you want to manage the listing price:
- Dynamic Pricing means that for this offer, the price will be adjusted based on the prices of competing offers (that is, listings from other sellers for the same listing - ASIN for Amazon, product id for Kaufland). If you select Dynamic Pricing then you will be required to specify parameters to determine the dynamic pricing range - from a minimum price to a maximum price. You can check or change these settings on the following tabs.
- Fixed Price means specifying one price that will be sent to the marketplace for this offer. In addition, our system will monitor that this price is actually set in the marketplace and if a change is detected, we will send this price again to ensure that the offer is sold at the fixed price set here.
- You can set price management as Off for an offer, which means disabling the management and sending of the price from the Nethans Platform to the market:
- if it is an offer listed for sale then we will stop updating its price,
- if it hasn't been listed yet, it won't be possible to send it to the marketplace (in order to send an offer to the marketplace, it is necessary to enable sending its price - this will be possible if price management is set to Dynamic Pricing or Fixed Price).
Price vs competition
In the Price vs competition tab, you can set parameters that will let our system know how to set your price in relation to the price of a competitive offer - that is, if possible, how much cheaper you want to sell than your competitors (of course, only if the minimum price level allows it).
Dynamic pricing range
The last tab is the parameters needed to set the dynamic pricing range. If a product cost is given for the offer then we will calculate the cost based range, if there is no product cost then it is necessary to provide at least a fixed minimum price for Dynamic Pricing to work. Optionally, you can also specify a fixed maximum price.
IMPORTANT: Remember to save our settings by clicking SAVE.
Apply changes for multiple offers at once
1. Select the offers for which you want to make changes to their price settings.
2. Select the offers you want, then click on the Bulk action and Price settings. You can now set specific parameters on the selected offers.
The price settings form is almost identical to the single offer form. In the first tab there is an additional option, selected by default, to make no changes in price management setting:
If you do not want to make a change in the price management mode for all selected offers - use this option. If you select one of the price management modes then it will be applied for all selected offers.
Remember: when setting price values on offers from different marketplaces (e.g. PL and DE), the amount will show in the currency of the specific market. By setting 10$$ on offers from the PL and DE markets, you will set 10 PLN on the PL market and 10 EUR on the DE market. Therefore, we suggest changing the price parameters on the offers for a specific market.
