Introduction to Sales Potential Analysis
Sales Potential Analysis (Analysis)
The Sales Potential Analysis presents estimated sales volumes for selected products for 30 days. It includes data from the day it was generated. The presented information estimates product sales in Amazon's European markets. It is based on three main sources:
- Amazon markets data
- Product parameters
- Price level
How it works
Prediction algorithms include:
- selling prices
- price thresholds
- stock levels
- competitiveness level and identifying whether you compete with Amazon
- attractiveness of the product
- attractiveness of individual markets
- seasonality
- sales history (if available)
- distribution channel
It is assumed that the seller is verified by Amazon, meets the BuyBox eligibility criteria and is authorised to sell products from the submitted list on all Amazon European marketplaces. The analysis considers the relevant VAT stakes for the target market and a satisfactory level of Account Health Metrics.
Important notice
The presented values are estimated. Moderate parameter fluctuations are considered in the potential analysis. Therefore, some variations may occur, but drastic deviations are not expected.
Please note: Sales forecasts made with the Sales Potential Analysis tool are indicative. They should serve for informational purposes only. These calculations are not an offer and cannot be used as a basis for business decisions.
Information on financing the development
Some of the solutions used in the sales potential analysis were created with subside from the POIR 1.1.1 Fast Track project. This programme, managed by the National Centre for Research and Development (NCBR), supports innovative research and development projects carried out by enterprises.
The POIR 1.1.1 Fast Track project aims to support research and development work with high innovative potential. Thanks to this support, it was possible to develop advanced algorithms and analytical mechanisms that contribute to increasing the accuracy and efficiency of Sales Potential Analysis.
